Appendix - CFS State Training Centre

The SACFS State Training Centre is a fairly recent development, and provides excellent facilities for training courses such as RCR, CABA, Compartment, HAZMAT and HotPad. More and more courses are being held at the State Training Centre to simplify procedures.
Located ~5km North of Nairne, the STC is on Pyrites Road, Brukunga, about 28km from Aldgate. Renumeration is provided for driving, but it is preferred that you seek a Command Car or at least car-pool.
Accomodation is offered, and all meals, which are excellent, are catered for. All expenses are covered by the SACFS.

Directions

The simplest route is to follow the Freeway to Mt. Barker, head left to Littlehampton and follow the road all the way to Nairne.

From there, turn left on to Bridge Street then right onto Sydney Road, which becomes Pyrites Road.

Turn left on to Bridge St. at the "Old Chapman's" brick warehouse

Then turn left in to the State Training Centre, about 5km from Nairne. Follow the driveway to the right to come to a large visitor's carpark.
